Videoz.Fun is a service of CloudWish LLC.
This policy explains what we collect when you use Videoz.Fun, why, how long we keep it and what you can ask us to do. CloudWish LLC is the controller of your data. You can reach us at support@videoz.fun.
1. What we collect
- Your automatic username, and an e-mail address if you add one. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the account identifier and the e-mail address they share with us.
- The photos you upload to make videos, and the videos you make. A photo of a face is facial data: see section 4.
- The instructions you type to make a video, and your choices (template, quality, language).
- Device and usage information that the website and the app need to work, such as language, country, currency, app version, push notification token and sign-in history. We work out your approximate location (country, city and network provider) from your IP address to keep your account safe.
- Payment information. Card payments are handled by Stripe, and in-app purchases by Apple and Google. We never see or store your full card number. We receive the result of the payment and a reference to it.
- Advertising and analytics signals, only with your consent where the law asks for it (EEA and UK). Our advertising partners also receive server-side events from us, such as a purchase, with a hashed e-mail address, IP address and device data. From the app we send purchase and sign-up events to Google Analytics only, without your e-mail address or other personal identifiers.
2. Why we use it, and on what legal basis
- To make your videos and keep them in your library, and to take payments and give you coins. Legal basis: performing our contract with you.
- To prevent fraud and abuse, keep your account safe, answer your messages and keep our service running. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a safe and working service.
- To measure how the service works and how our ads perform, and to show our ads. Legal basis: your consent where the law asks for it (EEA and UK), otherwise our legitimate interest. You can withdraw consent at any time (section 9).
- To process your face photos with AI providers. Legal basis: your explicit consent, which we ask for before your first upload.
- To send you push notifications about your videos and your account, and offers only if you opted in. Legal basis: your consent for offers, our contract with you for notices about your videos.
- To keep tax and accounting records. Legal basis: our legal obligation.
3. How long we keep it
- Photos you upload to make a video are deleted when the job ends, and within 24 hours at most.
- Photos you save for a character are kept until you delete that character.
- Your finished videos are kept in your library while your account exists. You can delete them at any time.
- If an account has no plan and no activity for 12 months, we warn you 30 days ahead and then delete it.
- When you delete your account, everything is removed within 30 days.
- Our AI providers keep their own copies under their own retention rules (Higgsfield keeps them for at least 7 days). We ask them to remove them on request.
- Sign-in records (with the IP address) are deleted after 90 days.
- The technical record of a request to an AI provider (including the instructions you typed), the payload of a payment or store notification, and the IP address and browser details of an advertising event are removed after 90 days. The amounts and the dates stay.
- Payment and tax records are kept for as long as the law requires.
- Files that an administrator exports from our systems are deleted within 24 hours.
4. Face photos and biometric data
- What: when you upload a photo with a face, yours or one you have the right to use, we and our AI providers analyse it to put that face in your video. This is facial data, and some laws call it biometric data.
- Why: only to make the video you asked for. We do not use it to identify you, to build a face database or to train AI models, and we never sell it.
- Who receives it: our AI providers, Higgsfield and fal, only to generate your video.
- How long: a photo you upload for a video is deleted from our systems when the job ends, and within 24 hours at most. A photo you save for a character is kept until you delete the character, then deleted. The providers keep their own copies for at least 7 days under their own rules.
- Destruction: deleted files are removed permanently from our storage. Write to support@videoz.fun and we will ask the providers to remove their copies.
- Your agreement: before your first upload we ask you to confirm that you are 18 or older and have the right to use the photo, and to agree that AI providers process it to make your video. You can withdraw by deleting the photo, the character or your account.
5. AI writing help and instruction safety checks
- What it does: in Create, suggestions to complete your instructions, and a safety check of the instructions before a video is made.
- What is sent: the instructions you typed and your language, through fal to OpenRouter and then to Google (model google/gemini-2.5-flash-lite). No photos are sent.
- Keeping: we keep the request and the answer in our logs for 90 days and then remove them. These providers handle the text under their own terms and retention rules.
- Music: a music file you upload stays on our server, is never sent to an AI provider and is deleted when the job ends.
6. Who processes data for us
We use trusted providers to run Videoz.Fun: Stripe, RevenueCat, Apple and Google (payments, subscriptions and sign-in); Higgsfield and fal, and through fal OpenRouter and Google (AI video generation and writing help); Expo (push notifications); our e-mail provider (the messages we send you); Cloudflare and Hetzner (network protection and hosting of our servers); TikTok, Meta and Google Analytics (advertising and analytics, only with your consent where the law asks for it, in the EEA and UK). They may only use the data to provide their service to us.
7. Transfers outside your country
Some of these providers are in the United States or other countries outside the EEA and the UK. When your data goes there, we rely on an adequacy decision (for example the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for certified providers) or on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, and the matching UK safeguards.
8. Advertising and your privacy choices
- Under the privacy laws of California and other US states, sending identifiers and purchase events to advertising partners for ads can count as "sharing". We do not sell your data for money.
- The "Your privacy choices" link at the bottom of our pages stops this for your browser. We also treat the Global Privacy Control signal of your browser as the same choice.
- In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland we ask first. "Cookie settings" at the bottom of our pages reopens the question so you can change your answer at any time.
- You can also use the rights in section 9. We do not treat you differently for using them. An authorised agent can write to support@videoz.fun for you.
9. Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete your account and its data, to stop or limit how we use it, or to object to it. You can withdraw a consent at any time, without affecting what we did before. Write to support@videoz.fun from the e-mail address on your account, or tell us your username. We answer within 30 days. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or another place with similar laws, you may also complain to your data protection authority.
10. Children
Videoz.Fun is only for people who are 18 or older. If you think a child has used it, write to us and we will remove the account.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The version and the date are shown at the top of this page.
